Dear All,

Today I was able to communicate with our missionaries in Aleppo. I greeted Mother Guadalupe and talked for a long time with Fr. Rodrigo.

Thank God they are well, although the difficulties remain. Lately, they have been having only 40 minutes of electricity per day; phone lines operate only at certain times, and so they are practically without means of communication. They continue to do a lot of work. The mere fact of their staying put has been a great witness, comfort and help for the Christians who are there.

They almost have no news from the outside world. They commend themselves to our prayers; they are a little tired but are happy to remain where God asks them to be at this time.

Let us pray for peace in Syria, for the fortitude of the missionaries and that God may enlighten those who govern nations.

In Christ and Mary.

Fr. Marcelo Gallardo IVE
