Returning to the Mission, 2/2. Tanzania
We are doing a Mission Ad Gentes (to the people)… there are so many who do not know Christ. And in the hearts of many of them, they must be called in such admirable ways. May God grant us the grace to be faithful to our mission and that we may make the name of Christ know to the ends of the earth. As Paul and Barnabas preached at Antioch in Pisidia: For so the Lord has commanded us: “I have made you the light of the gentiles, so that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” Upon hearing this, the Gentiles were glad and glorified the word of the Lord, and as many as had been destined for eternal life, believed. Acts 13:47-48

This Saturday we had the last day of the “Divino Niño” Oratory, which around 50 people attended. We prayed the Holy Rosary, followed by a festive lunch. Afterwards, the female postulants performed a skit and lastly some prizes were given out to the kids. We give thanks to Lord for giving us the opportunity to serve Him in those who are most in need.
Feast of St. Martin with the Children in Brunssum
On November 11th, the children celebrated the Feast of St. Martin in Brunssum, Netherlands by making lanterns for the St. Martin Walk. Before leaving for the Walk, they stopped by the Church of St. Gregory to pray. And so just as St. Martin of Tours came on horseback many years ago, the children went around town with their lanterns and a horse, wishing people a happy feast day. Finally, their day concluded with a campfire with hot dogs. We ask that you continue to offer your prayers for this mission.

LITHUANIA
Patronal Feast of Our Lady Gate of the Dawn. Nov. 16th, Mass with Bishop, Mass with the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word.
What a blessing to partake in the Holy Mass with His Excellency Bishop Linas in preparation for the Solemnity of Aušros Vartų Marija! Not only is this a great feast for the Religious Family of the IVE in Northern Europe, whose patroness is Our Lady Gate of the Dawn, but also for our communities and for the country of Lithuania. The Mass was held in the Church that is attached to the small chapel dedicated to Aušros Vartų Marijai (Our Lady Gate of the Dawn)., the Church was packed full of many priests, religious and the lay faithful where standing was the only option for the majority.
For the Solemnity of Our Lady Gate of the Dawn, we invited Father Domingo and the minor seminarians for the celebration of the Holy Mass, Vespers and a festive and delicious dinner to follow. We also had the great honor of celebrating the solemnity with our provincial superior, Mother Virgen Blanca, who came to visit the sisters for a few days. Between the preparations and excitement of the upcoming feast, the house was full of movement as the classical music could be heard throughout the house. Through her merciful intercession, we ask Our Lady Gate of the Dawn, Mother of Mercy, to obtain for us all the graces necessary to continue our work for the salvation of souls in Lithuania.

Mother Nazaret, Provincial Superior of the Middle East, writes:
We give thanks for the last ongoing formation meeting. In it, the article by P. Buela about progressivism and the emptying of Scripture was presented. The presentation was given by Sister María del Socorro. The second point of the meeting was presented by M. Maria de Caacupé, who referred to the first part of the liturgical Life directory.
Once the presentations were over, vespers were prayed, followed by dinner. The sisters who came from Egypt to take the spiritual exercises were present at this meeting.
We thank the Lord for all his benefits and pray for all the missionaries in the world.
