New baptisms in a city liberated from ISIS in Iraq! On the Feast of the Epiphany, called Dineh in Aramaic and on which the Chaldean liturgy celebrates the Baptism of the Lord, three children received the Sacrament of Baptism and Confirmation in Karamales, Iraq. They are new residents of the city after its liberation from the hands of ISIS and new children of God that bring hope to this country where Christianity was decimated by war and terrorism.

In these days we received the visit of a group of Boy Scouts “Holy Family of Bethlehem”, and from a group of volunteers from Holy Spirit High School, who came from Maquinista Sabio, Buenos Aires. They shared days of joy and fun with us from January 3rd to 8th. Among them were boys between 10 and 18 years old as well as young adults.
A very special day was the sixth of January, when the Scouts gave gifts for all the boys and elderly of Our Home.

Last Thursday, we had the visit of two siblings of Sister María Dulce Niña, from Argentina: her brother, a monk in the Monastery St. Michael the Archangel, in Brazil, and her sister Maria al pie de la Cruz.
Admission of two Sisters to the Contemplative Life
After four years, two of our sisters were admitted definitively into the Contemplative Life of our Institute! The Holy Mass was celebrated by our Chaplain, Father Carlos Pereira, and we were graced with the presence of our Superior General, Mother Maria Corredentora, who received them as contemplatives. One is from Mexico, Mary Mother of Hope, and the other is from Egypt, Maria Trifuza.
